After building his own worlds in Minecraft since kindergarten, Prime asked to add Minecraft Education — a move from playing into learning to program, inside an environment he already knew well.
He sat an assessment and a trial class to check whether he could handle the level. He passed, and the school offered a follow-on course aimed at competition.
